If you're using Windows XP or newer, don't bother with this program. This is a great program that allows you to modify the start menu, desktop icons, and a few other small things with the appearance and functionality of Windows. It works for Windows 95, 98, 98 SE, ME, and 2000. I use it on every copy of Windows 2000 I install. I hate the Windows Flag branding my start button. My start button says 'Create!' cause that's what I like to do with my computer.

Did you know that every copy of Windows installed and run has hidden shares? They hide them by adding a dollar sign after the share name. If you don't know about shares, what they are, and what they are for.. let me enlighten you briefly. Basically, when you're connecting multiple computers together over a network or the internet.. you can access the drives of other machines by naming them. These are called share names. Say I share something as 'barfface'.. it will show up as barfface over all the network. But, if I name it 'barfface$' then it's still shared but no one can see it. Here are the ones that Windows puts in your system without telling you:
admin$ - shares all your system files c$ - shares your entire hard drive ipc$ - shares the sharing manager so if you disable some of the shares you aren't supposed to know about.. someone can go back in and turn them on.
